History

CESKAT HISTORY
CESKAT was founded in 1989 by Cegelec (today Alstom) and Sigdo Koppers (SK), to serve the Industrial Process Control and Automation market as part of the development of the Pehuenche hydroelectric power plant project in Southern Chile. It should be noted that CESKAT does not currently have an ownership relationship with any of these companies.

In 1992, the power electronics area was created to provide service and commercialization of solutions with low voltage frequency inverters up to 2 MW and EW and traction rectifiers.
In 1999, Alstom took control of Cegelec worldwide, considering this, Ceskat is acquired by its main Chilean executives, who develop highly specialized projects in different sectors, achieving recognized prestige in the industry.

During 2004, the Ralco Hydroelectric Plant began operations, an hydroelectric project with the largest installed capacity to date in our country, in which Ceskat developed the control system for turbines, generators and gates.
In 2009 Ceskat Systems S.A. was created taking advantage of the accumulated experience of the historical executives of Ceskat with the support and strengthness of the company Soltex, supplier of equipment and solutions for fluid handling, industrial processing, instrumentation and control, who through an investment company, takes control of 51% of the new company.

In 2011 Ceskat left its Eulogia Sánchez offices in Providencia and moved to new facilities in an important industrial center in the Huechuraba commune, gathering its different areas and units in the same place, including the factory.

THE PRESENT OF CESKAT
In 2016 Soltex and its investment company acquired 100% of Ceskat's shares after an agreement between the partners, with which the company became an integral part of the Soltex group, sharing the same facilities in the Quilicura district, with important commercial, administrative and management synergies, while maintaining its independence.

During 2020 Ceskat redfined its strategy to became a supplier of high quality electric equipment and innovative solutions for different industries. Today , our positon, permites us the chance to supply integrators and end-users with the best technologies avaliable in the market.
